Redmi Note 15 India Prices Surface Ahead of Anticipated Launch, Fueling Market Buzz
Redmi Note 15 India prices have leaked ahead of its expected launch, with reports suggesting a starting price of ₹22,999. As Xiaomi teases a “coming soon” debut, key specifications and global features of the Redmi Note 15 are already confirmed, boosting anticipation among buyers.
According to information shared by well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi Note 15 is likely to be priced at ₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant in India. A higher configuration featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is tipped to cost ₹24,999. Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these prices, and as with all leaks, the figures should be treated cautiously until the company makes a formal announcement.
Xiaomi has only stated that the Redmi Note 15 is “coming soon” to India, without providing a specific launch timeline. However, industry observers note that the Redmi Note 14 was launched in India in December 2024, making a late-December 2025 or January 2026 release for its successor a logical progression. Teasers and recent reports further suggest that the unveiling could take place within the next few weeks.
While details about Indian pricing have leaked, there remains uncertainty around the lineup structure for the country. Xiaomi has not clarified whether India will receive only the standard Redmi Note 15 or if the Pro and Pro+ variants will also be introduced at a later stage. For now, there is no concrete information confirming the arrival of the higher-end models in the Indian market.
Globally, Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 15 5G in select regions earlier this month, alongside the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. In markets such as Poland, the standard Redmi Note 15 ships with HyperOS 2 and features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The handset is equipped with a dual rear camera system headlined by a 108-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while a 20-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. The device also comes with an IP rating for water and dust resistance, although the exact certification varies depending on the region.
As Xiaomi prepares for the Redmi Note 15’s India launch, the leaked pricing positions the device firmly in the competitive upper mid-range segment. If the company follows through with aggressive pricing and retains the global feature set for India, the Redmi Note 15 could play a crucial role in shaping Xiaomi’s 2026 smartphone strategy and intensifying competition in one of the world’s most crowded mobile markets.
